During these short initial assessments, should any of your employees present any signs and/or symptoms of pain or discomfort then we can recommend a more in depth ‘Advanced DSE Assessment’, specifically for them that will typically last 45 minutes to an hour.
Our trained DSE assessors can advise on seating position and ergonomic values at the workstation and will include a full report of the existing workstation and the recommendations made. This helps both line managers and ‘end users’ identify any issues with current setups as well as any specific products that may assist on a proactive basis with regards to Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs).
Employees will require a Basic DSE assessment when:
- a new starter joins
- a new workstation is set up
- a change is made to an existing workstation or there is a fundamental change in the way it is used
- a user complains of discomfort
